Cooper, Reachs and ARC Infertility Clinics

Deciding on an infertility clinic is one of the hardest decisions you will make in your pursuit of fertility. With all of the clinics out there it is so difficult to make your choice. Obviously you will want to find a balance between good results and reasonable rates. But you shouldn’t always depend on pregnancy rates to give you an accurate idea of how good the clinic is because some clinics turn away the more difficult cases and some clinics don’t take miscarriages into account in their numbers. So confirm with your clinic about how they put their numbers together. It’s always helpful to ask around when you’re looking for a fertility clinic and I’ve written down a number of things I’ve heard friends discussing that might be good place to start.

There are the ARC infertility clinics, which are all over. Before I forget, ARC is short for Advanced Reproductive Care. I’ve heard that they try to be as reasonable as they can, and better still, they have pay back guarantees if things don’t work out. The handy thing about a pay back guarantee is that you have cash to try again if things don’t work the first time; very helpful considering how steep the procedures are! You can also opt for a monthly payment option if that suits your pocket better. It really makes a difference when the staff are friendly and the service is helpful – and I’ve heard good feed back about the ARC clinics!

A friend in North Carolina told me about the REACH infertility clinic. It seems that waiting for test results is one of the most stressful parts of infertility treatment – but you get your results much faster there because they have their own dedicated labs. I’m not sure if it’s worth it to journey that far away just to have a look, but if you’re in the area you could check it out.

Oh yes, there’s also the Cooper infertility clinic that another buddy of mine was at – I think its full name is the Cooper Center for In-Vitro Fertilization or something like that. I don’t know if they have a reimbursement guarantee but if you help another couple by donating your eggs you could get your IVF almost free of charge.

Clearly these are only the ones I know about – they certainly aren’t the only ones! Perhaps you should ask your doctor about the infertility clinics in your region – I’m sure he’ll have a far better idea than I have!
