Pregnancy Timeline
I want to talk about my girlfriend’s pregnancy timeline from a male’s perspective. Three month’s ago my girlfriend found out that she was pregnant. This was really great news for us. While we had planned it, it did happen quite soon.
Early on in the pregnancy timeline it is quite easy. That is right at the early stages. Soon though your partner will be showing pregnancy symptoms which will have an impact on you and your relationship. I hope that by forewarning you about them that you should be able to cope with it better.
So are there any other symptoms that my partner is suffering from? The most common that women have on the pregnancy timeline is morning sickness. Morning sickness can happen throughout the entire day and it is not just restricted to the mornings. My partner wasn’t physically sick but she had that feeling a lot. Having something to eat helped her.
Tiredness was the next big thing. My partner started staying in bed longer. This was quite a change for her as she used to be an early riser. Getting her out of bed in the mornings became quite a chore. This was something that I found difficult. Although she was more tired it is still important that she gets up can carries on with her normal activities.
This is not just restricted to the morning. After work it seems that she just lies on the sofa all evening! This will change as you go further along the pregnancy timeline but you may have to start shifting some activities like housework.
There will be a few other symptons that your partner will suffer from. We are only just starting our second trimester so I won’t be able to list everything but you should expect… backaches, headaches, constipation, mood swings and other weird cravings.
